Chunk Noland is on the deserted island alone, wandering from place to place. There is no one around at all on the island. After construction of the raft and the wind begins to blow the way he goes he realises it’s time to sail. As he sails, the wave is getting bigger and bigger. Finally, a mountain of a wave is about to overtake him.
Chuck : Here we go, Wilson! Hold it tight!!
Wilson : ( … )
Chuck : Wilson! (He suddenly jumped out of bed, panting. He was sweating. It was a nightmare)
The hands of the watch stood at three. Few days have passed after Chuck was rescued. He kept failing to get to sleep these days. He was having the same nightmare over and over again everyday. He felt like he was still living in that island. Chuck was in a fragile mental state, feeling so lonely. It’s very painful. He was now unaccustomed to this kind of life which was normal. Chuck opened the drawer and picked up something. On his hand, it was the pocketwatch with Kelly’s picture. Then, he went back to sleep with the picture in his hand.
Next morning, there was a celebration by his friends for Chuck being back alive. It was their first meeting in four years. Chuck stepped in. At first, they were just gazing blankly at him with a shock. It was absolutely great to have him back but also was shocking to see someone who they thought was dead is really quite alive. They were all stunned by his reappearance after years. All eyes were turned upon him and Chuck looked uncomfortable.
Friend : Chunk, look at you. Where the hell have you been so far (almost crying) Oh my god, I can not believe you are back. How great to see you. (hugging Chuck)
Chuck : yeah.. It’s great… really …
Chuck and his friends talked about this and that. They had really great time and everything seemed going back to normal for Chuck but there is one thing that he has been missing at that time. This talking and laughing with friends reminded him of his beloved friend.
Chuck : (Wilson …)
Still, he couldn't help remembering Wilson that he had lost. Just then, one of his friends mentioned about Kelly. Chuck was trying to listen carefully and asked
Chuck : Have you got any news from Kelly?? Tell me everything you know about her.Friend : Well, I.. I don't know. She probably thinks you are dead. well, that's obvious isn't it? Why don't you call her. I will give you the number. Maybe she is still alone and you guys will have chance to get back together. Who knows?? (smile and laughs)Chuck : ...
Chuck immediately rushed out of the restaurant and got into the phone booth, holding the phone but hesitated for a moment. A couple of hours later, he was still hesitating but soon dialed the number.
Kelly : Hello?, Kelly Frears speaking.
Chuck : ...
Kelly : Hello? Who's this? Hey, if you ...
The 3rd person : Hey honey what's the matter? Who's that you speaking to?
(Chuck frowning)
Kelly : I don't know. Someone has called and is not answering. This is weird.
The 3rd person : That must be the wrong number. Don't worry. Just cut off.
Kelly : yeah…
(Chuck cuts off the phone first)
Chuck was disappointed at the fact that she’s been with someone else since he was missing. He was standing around like a fool for a while... to be continued...

Wilson was his volley ball that he made into a friend right?
Interesting that when you spend so much time alone, you create people to be around, he ended up becoming attached to an inanimate object.
I thought that your story telling style was good, It might be better to include a little more description and more of your own ideas in order to develop the story further,
How did Chuck come back in life?? I really want to know in detail about that....I am sure he will look pretty awful when he is rescued. The story is very interesting, actually I have watched Cast away few years ago, I think its a good movie and it is based on true story right?? I hope this will turn into good ending man, like Chuck finally get marry with Kelly...something like that.Anyway I am looking forward to read the next episode, nice story cheers!
I thought it was well written, but also thought it was a little short and close to the original story. And am not sure about the different direction you are taking this story. I hope that you continue to write an end of this fan fiction because i'm quite interested to where you will take it.
Thanks for the points you guys made here. I know my story is quite simliar to the original one now coz it is right after what happened in the origninal story. It's not easy but I will try to develop my story further.
