buzz betrays woody by de-flowering his precious bo-peep
Thus causing a divide between the toys; woody's side and Buzz' side.
Andy gets caught in the cross-fire and has to find a way to re-unite his toys
his room is quickly becoming a battle zone.
Toy Story – Woody’s Betrayal (director’s script)
Scene one:
Mr potato head whispers to Rex:
“I heard that Buzz has been going to ‘infinity and beyond’ with bo-peep!”
Rex: (looking up from his magnadoodle) “No Way!”
Mr Potato head: (ear falls off) “sorry t-that happens sometimes.”
Rex: (still in disbelief looks slowly towards mr potato head) “No Waay”
Enter Mrs Potato Head: “I've always suggested he get it glued on, but apart from that he never really had a set of ears that would listen to me - what’s all this nonsense about our beloved buzz?”
Other toys start to gather:
Mr Potato head: “It’s nothing dear, we were just having a man to man talk”
Slinky: concertinas down from a desk to the floor, “Woody…? Woody…?”
“Has anyone seen woody?”
More and more toys start to assemble, (hushed chatter)
Potato head: (his excited tone changing into a more concerned one)
“Rex did woody tell you where he was going today”
Rex: “err, he said he was going with Andy on ‘important business’ somewhere”
Mrs Potato head: (distant gunfire) “Here, Woody will be back soon, (to mr potato head) why don’t you make yourself useful and get those soldiers to stop practising their drills near the dolls’ house, they’re causing holiday home Barbie a great deal of strife.”
Mr Potato head Grumbles:
“Oh, that broad…All she does is sit in her Jacuzzi all day, I don’t see why I have to go and- (saunters off mumbling to himself)
Bo-Peep emerges from under Andy’s bed, and walks over to where all the other toys are gathered.
(Adjusts her hair ribbon) “What seems to be the matter?”
Mrs Potato head is mildly surprised to see bo-peep
“Weren’t you meant to be tending to your heard Bo? Anyway, we’ve been waiting for woody all this time, and no sign…
Bo-peep: “he hasn’t come back yet?”
(Slinky walks the front half of his body over to where bo-peep is standing)
“No bo he hasn’t…not yet, I hope he’s ok.... woody…if anything’s-”
Rex suddenly drops his magnadoodle stylus
Dinosaur: (gazes up at the gigantic window sill as if hoping to see woody there)
“Say Slinky, Why the long face?” (Buzz strolls over from near Andy’s bedside table)
(Slinky happy to see buzz) “Buzz!! Where have you been??
(Buzz’s eyes shoot from left to right for a brief moment) “Err…hah! I was checking my laser for malfunctions. You never know how many nasty toys could be in this neighbourhood… (Looks over to the closet) “Aah I see the boys are practising their drills again.”
Mrs Potato head: “deary me, your face is a mess”
Mr Potato head: “I told them to stop shoot- (he sees Buzz standing talking to slinky)
“Err, Buzz… h-have you seen woody?”
(Buzz is patting slinky on the head - he looks up)
“I haven’t seen Woody since yesterday, but he’s a big cowboy there isn’t a person in this galaxy that can beat him!”
Bo-Peep: “Buzz, you know woody isn’t a fighter”
“Well, he’s got the brains to conquer any highly intelligent life-form this side of the Milky Way”
Mr potato head: “yea and I suppose now would be the right time to say something like “to infinity and beyond…”
(Chuckles to himself but quickly stops as buzz aims his wrist laser directly at him)
“On my planet ‘mashed potato’ was a popular dish”
Bo-peep puts her hand out to lower buzz’ arm.
“Buzz, stop being silly”
(Buzz chuckles)
“I’m not as silly as you were last-”
“I-I should tend to my sheep.”
(Bo Peep turns to buzz as she’s walking away – cold hard stare)
Scene two:
Later on that evening:
Andy’s doorknob starts to move, and the door creeks open slowly
(The soldiers - the only toys awake, watch intently from their posts)
“Stay still men, Andy’s home” (brief radio static)
Andy slips into the room, turns before shutting the door “g’nite mom”
He places woody down on his bed, before slumping down face up on the bed.
“I wonder if she likes me Woody…”
Woody remains perfectly still at the foot of the bed.
Soldier to commander: “Andy’s asleep sir”
“Ok very good sergeant, send out the word”
“Roger that sir”
(Radio chatter)
The toys start to emerge from closets, toy boxes, from under the bed, and all sorts of nooks and crannies.
Woody taps the microphone on the kid’s tape recorder.
“Hi everyone, I’d like to make an announcement. I have been away with Andy and…
Rex: (stomps over from against the wall)
“But where did you go Woody?”
“I was at Janey’s house playing with Andy and Janey’s Toys. But that’s not important now. Andy likes Janey…”
Slinky: “But we knew that woody!”
Woody: “Not in that way Slinky, there are other ways people can like each other”
Slinky” “oh…
Woody looks out over the crowds of toys, and notices that one toy in particular is missing.
(Woody bends down and whispers to Slinky) “Where’s buzz? He should be here”
Slinky: (looking around) “I don’t know woody he never missed a meeting before”
The toys are anxiously waiting for Woody to readdress them.
Mr Potato head whispers to Mrs Potato head “bo-peep isn’t around either...”
Woody: “OK everyone meeting’s over!”
One of the toys: “already? Geez get us gathered here especially and then just waste our time”
Woody then goes off to find out where buzz and bo-peep are.
(Toys are still standing around confused)
Woody looks under the bed, he hears shouting coming from an old toy box.
Woody realises that the shouting isn’t someone in trouble, but someone writhing in ecstasy –
His beloved Bo beep.
Woody: Buzz, what are you...?
Bo-peep, “Woody!”
Buzz: “ah- woody I...”
Woody: “don’t bother Buzz...”
Woody slumps away. He walks past all the other toys and as they approach him, he waves them away.
Woody: (To himself) “How could he.... Buzz…. My Bo-peep.”

Yet another good twist on Toy Story, great story line really well written and kept to the character conversation quite true to the movie, loved buzz having an affair with Bo peep and the "taking her to infinity and beyond" was hilarious. Also would like to see more of the story if you keep writing it and what happens to the toys, which side they choose etc, and if there is an actual war between them.
there will be a war...usually the real woody from toy story wouldn't resort to violence, but that was the tack i had intended to take from the outset...
maybe i'll add in the next scene (the war) on my blog, cheers for the comments!
i think woody is a push over, he shouldn't just leave it like that, maybe if i wrote this script woody would lash out at buzz. though its not entirely his fault, its bo-peep who's cheating on him. maybe since buzz is supposed to be andy's favorite toy also, there should be also a time where andy takes buzz to, janey's place and woody can sort his woman out, but what ever the out come the story should be quite interesting.
since your story has a bit of sexual reference, it makes it more or less like a comedy, if you build upon that stuff i think it would be really funny, i mean you can make it really funny or start gettin serious, for example they hav a war over this. toys siding woody and siding buzz, and they hav a fist fight, leaving andy's room really messy in conjunction with andy gettin in trouble.
these are a few of my ideas towards this so maybe u can think about them.
very nice story Ben, I really want to see Buzz and Woody fighting and the sexual reference is so funny I love it. I am wondering what will Woody do to revenge Buzz, I think you should make Woody gets real angry, and try to persuade all the toys to become his side of gang to fight with Buzz, that just an idea tho. How serious will the war be?? Any toy will be "kill" or "destroy"?? Also I wondered about the ending as well, cant wait until you finish the story.
